Apologies.

To my dear readers. wherever you are.

I am sorry that I have not been blogging because lately i've been skiing in New Zealand which was fabulous! However, it has been apparent that interest in fashion is something that comes naturally. And trust me, I have been in the thick of the fashion world.

Over July and August, i've been obsessed with various designers, the latest trends of spring, various models, vintage fashion and shoes. But hardly given the oppurtunity to express myself, this has all been bottled up in a CHANEL vixen nailpolish.

Obviously I love CHANEL and Karl Lagerfeld (designer), from their double c's to the quilted totes, what's not to love?? I also love Alexander McQueen for his flesh lace designs and four fingered clutches. But alas, who can really match the spectacular flowing creations of Valentino, who is sadly retired. When I was 13, I told myself that if I was ever the famous and succesful actress that I hope to become, that I would wear a Valentino gown to the Oscars.

With so many things to say, i'll start on Spring trends.

The trends are soft, delicate pieces in pastels and the lightest shades possible. Florals are obviously a must in spring and again, the flowers should be either humongous or tiny. Another repeated trend, is nautical. This means horizontal stripes (vertical makes you look too prisonerish), polka dots and if you can a pair of SEBAGO docksides made in the U.S.A. go for it. The overall colour scheme of spring is light with the navy trend being really the only outlet for bright reds, blues, bold whites and blacks.

However trends are trends and I think what you wear is more amazing when you let a pair of your personality shine through.

Also, I rummaged through my mom's wardrobe the other day to see a whole lot of pieces which are in trend right now, but that are at least 3 years old. Funny how fashion repeats itself?

I don't think so,

new youtube account

hi everybody!!!
So, i now have my very own youtube account. It is called pfistersarah and i think it's pretty good.
I aim to have hair tutorials, discussions and fashion-related stuff on it. I've only posted 2 videos so far, but there will be more, trust me.

To gossip!

So, recently i signed up to rachel zoe. I am dissapointed. She doesn't have anything new, that I don't know is in. I mean, recently she said straw hats were in, um, yah, they've been in all summer!! Get with the times!!
She's supposedly 'great', but she has yet to prove herself to me. Lol, I am mean!! :/

To fashion!

I am loving fairtrade. So when i heard last year about the brand People Tree, i thought to myself, wow, that is so the brand for me!!! Not only does it have Emma Watson, but it is fashionablish and at a reasonable price. Finally something good for less than 200 tops!!

That's just one of their advertising campaigns. I'm loving the striped naval top on the model to the right. Very pretty!!!

Anyway,
Wherever you are in the world, I hope you having the time of your life. We are, it's school holidays.

The September Issue

Hi all.

I know I haven't blogged for ages and of course a thousand
and one things have come in and gone out. Right now I am watching the September Issue. It is so inspirational! Looking at the people who work in Vogue makes you want to be them.

I want to drink bottled water, wear amazing things and be ahead of the curb.

Okay now to Fashion. I know you may not ag
ree with somethings, but I think....

Coats. Beautiful Burberry Coats with the tied buckles and empire waists, you have to love them. Okay if you can't afford a Burberry Coat (not many people can :)) I'd recommend a winter coat with....
-long sleeves
-bold or dark colors
-buttons,
-metallic zips
-smart cuffs
-fitted waists
and the length falling just above your knees.
Pair your amazing coat with a pair of winter tights in opaque, blues and blacks.
Your look could be like this... courtesy of Burberry

Anyway that's Fashion for Thought!!

Tyra Banks

I know that late supermodel Tyra Banks has retired, but seriously, she has got to be the most stylish ex-supermodel the world has ever seen. Seen above, flagging a Louis Vuitton monogram bag, Banks has remained in the good books of most extraordinary designers as well as America's hearts. Hosting 'America's Next Top Model' and her own show, 'Tyra Banks Show', she has come along way from being thrown off catwalks an the runway, by Naomi Campbell!! Yes she has!! :O

Anyway, what i'm trying to say, is that just because you aren't what you used to be, you can still make the decision to continue being YOU. Because at the end of the day, the only person you'll be stuck with the rest of your life is YOU.

Now that's fashion for thought....

Cheers xxx
